The VTCT Level 4 Award in Laser and Light Treatments for Skin Rejuvenation is an advanced vocational qualification which will prepare you to provide intense light and laser treatments for photo-rejuvenation of the skin.
The knowledge and skills gained in this qualification include preparing for and providing laser and intense pulsed light treatment to treat skin imperfections including telangiectasia, spider naevi blood spots, ne lines, photo ageing, uneven pigmentation, colour and texture on the face, neck, chest, hands and other body areas with lesions suitable for treatment.

A good level of education is required to be able to complete this course to be able to complete the written assignments.
Prerequisite
Learners who wish to undertake this qualification must also achieve the VTCT (ITEC) Level 2 Award in Infection Prevention (COVID-19) for Beauty Therapy and Nail Services qualification or a regulated equivalent
Gina Collins Cosmetic Academy offers the following programme to complete this VTCT qualification. The course is 3 days in total.
Day 1 Induction
– Assignment work
– Theory
– Demonstrations
Day 2 Practical sessions including all ranges
– Reduction of fine lines
– Evening out of pigmentation, colour tone and texture
– Reduction of superficial telangiectasia, spider naevi and Campbell De Morgan spots (blood spots)
– Improving the appearance of photoaged skin
Day 3 Assessments and observations
Continuous tutor support via email /skype/telephone contact as required until all units are completed
