Information for novices: Age restriction – 18
This VTCT Level 4 qualification will provide you with the necessary skills to carry out Laser Hair Removal treatments, together with skin rejuvenation treatments, health and safety when working in the clinic and machine safety knowledge.
There is now a mandatory unit for Covid -19 to complete as a pre-requisite for this qualification.
There are 4 modules to complete to obtain the Level 4 Certificate:
UV30468 Client care and communication in beauty-related industries
UV40462 Management of health, safety and security in the salon
UV40413 Laser and light treatments for hair removal
UV40414 Laser and light for skin rejuvenation
ENTRY REQUIREMENTS
- The minimum age for entry onto this course is 18 years.
- A good level of education is required to be able to complete this course to be able to complete the written assignments.
- L3 Beauty or equivalent. We offer L3 Anatomy & Physiology if required.
- Core of Knowledge (we provide the link for training)
Prerequisite
Learners who wish to undertake this qualification must also achieve the VTCT (ITEC) Level 2 Award in Infection Prevention (COVID-19) for Beauty Therapy and Nail Services qualification or a regulated equivalent

– Practical Sessions and Observations
Day 5 Final observations and Portfolio Completion
– Continuous support via email/skype/telephone contact
Continuous tutor support via email /skype/telephone contact as required until all units are completed
