This unit is about reducing hair growth using intense pulsed light and laser systems. You will need to have knowledge of safe working practice and controlling hazards in the salon. You will be able to identify hair and skin conditions and those clients suitable for the treatments.
There is now a mandatory unit for VTCT Level 2 Covid-19 course to complete as a pre-requisite for this qualification.

ENTRY REQUIREMENTS
- Minimum age for entry onto this course is 18 years.
- A good level of education is required to be able to complete this course to be able to complete the written assignments.
- L3 Beauty or equivalent. We offer L3 Anatomy & Physiology if required.
- Core of Knowledge (we provide the link for training)
Prerequisite
Learners who wish to undertake this qualification must also achieve the VTCT (ITEC) Level 2 Award in Infection Prevention (COVID-19) for Beauty Therapy and Nail Services qualification or a regulated equivalent
